The Falconer is a cushion with a motif taken from the Bayeux tapestry recounting the conquest of England by William the Conqueror.
This cushion cover made by Jules Pansu is woven and made in France. The jacquard technique used here allows us to control each thread independently in order to create numerous effects. This know-how in tapestry weaving on Jacquard loom is typical of Flanders, cradle of tapestry since the Middle Ages.
