Cushion "The Snake Charmer" after the painting by Henri Rousseau (1844-1910).
Rousseau, a self-taught painter, traveled very little. Most of his jungles were painted in the Museum of Natural History and in the large greenhouse of the Jardin des Plantes. The oil on canvas "La Charmeuse de serpents" painted in 1907 is exhibited and preserved at the Orsay Museum in Paris. Our cushion cover in jacquard weave is a reproduction of the original painting.
Entirely woven and made in France in our northern workshops located in Halluin and labeled "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant".
