Cushion cover Women of Tahiti after the painting by Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).
Paul Gauguin went to Tahiti in 1891, an island he imagined to be paradisiacal and primitive. This painting, done during his first trip, shows Tahitian women engaged in daily tasks. This work is exhibited and preserved at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Our jacquard woven cushion cover is an extract of the original painting.
Entirely woven and made in France in the workshops of Jules Pansu located in Halluin in Northern France.
