The tapestry For Pilar of all hearts is made in jacquard weaving after the artwork of the artist Joan Miró.
Magnificent Miró tapestry painting in 1939 is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping alive the weaving techniques generation after generation. Jules Pansu is the only house authorized by the Successió Miró to reproduce the artist's works on cushions and tapestries.
Our know-how allows us to retranscribe many details and to give relief to these reproductions thanks to the effects of weaving and material. All our tapestries are fully lined with a sleeve along the top and eyelets in order to offer several alternatives for hanging: either by hooks placed in the eyelets, or by a visible rod or a wooden batten which is a concealed method of hanging. On each tapestry a certificate of authenticity is affixed.
This tapestry is entirely woven and made in France in our workshops in Flanders located in the North.
