The Mandolin and guitar tapestry is made in jacquard weaving after the painting dating from 1924 by the artist Pablo Picasso.
This beautiful Picasso tapestry after the 1924 painting "Mandolin and Guitar" is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping weaving techniques alive from generation after generation.
The Jules Pansu house is the only one authorized by the Picasso Estate to reproduce the artist's works on cushions and tapestries. Our know-how allows us to transcribe in detail the brushstrokes and to give relief to these reproductions thanks to the numerous effects of weave and material. All our tapestries are fully lined with a sheath and eyelets in order to offer several hanging alternatives: either by hooks placed in the eyelets, or by an exposed rod or even a wooden slat slipped into the sheath for concealed hanging. On each tapestry a certificate of authenticity is affixed.
This tapestry is entirely woven and made in France in our workshops in Flanders located in the North.
