Banana tree tapestry, 19th century exotic landscape attributed to Eugène Ehrmann and Georges Zipélius.
Our tapestry "Banana tree" is woven after a wall-paper panoramic of the 19th century "Isolla Bella" attributed to Eugene Ehrmann (1804-1896) and to Georges Zipélius (1808-1890). Relection of a society of botanic, this landscape depicts with great detail new plants as the palm-tree and the magnolia, collected by naturalists during their ocean voyages.
This tapestry is woven in France in our workshops located in the North, in Flanders.
