After J. B. Oudry (1686-1755). The triumph of the painters gave rise to a new ideal for 18th-century tapestry-makers. They dreamed of making their tapestries look like paintings when viewed from a distance. As a result, many pieces woven from the cartoons of certain painters were admirably interpreted.
Our jacquard tapestries are woven and made in France in our own workshops located in Flanders.
