Vase Chambord tapestry from a suite commissioned by George William for his home in England.
Designed by Jean Germain Soufflot (1713-1780) and Maurice Jacques (1712-1784), the original tapestry was woven in the workshops of Jacques Neilson at the Manufacture des Gobelins between 1764 and 1771. This richly floral design is woven and made in France in our Flanders workshops in Halluin.
