Tapestry Halte des Chasseurs, work inspired by an Aubusson tapestry, mid 18th century.
From an Aubusson tapestry, mid 18th century. The weavers of Aubusson who traditionally realized "verdures" or "bocages" turned to country and pastoral scenes and created a style of tapestries called "le rustique". This tapestry is the illustration. Hunters and pretty ladies rest and chat quietly in a green and rural nature.
Jacquard weaving tapestry entirely woven and made in France in our Northern workshops.
