Tapestry Départ de Chasse, work inspired by a tapestry of the XVIth century attributed to the Ateliers des Flandres.
From a tapestry discovered in the 16th century in the Bordeaux region, attributed to the Ateliers des Flandres (Brussels) around 1500. This tapestry is exhibited at the Hôtel de Cluny (Paris). This masterpiece of medieval art shows us one of the favorite pastimes of the lords of the time, the hawk hunt also called in the sixteenth century "pleasant hunt" or "hunting flight".
Jacquard tapestry entirely woven and made in France in Halluin at Tissages de la Lys, Manufacture Jules Pansu.
