The taste tapestry from the famous "Lady of the Unicorn" series.
In this tapestry from the "Ladies with Unicorns" series, the Lady, with a parakeet on her fist and her little dog in tow, is drawing from the sucker presented to her by her companion. One of the five senses is evoked here by the monkey, who brings something to his mouth: Taste. A palisade adorned with roses stands at the far end of the mound.
This tapestry is woven and made in France in our Northern workshops.
