Tapestry Vendanges des Réprouvés, famous scene of the Apocalypse of Angers.
Extract of one of the six panels of the Angers Apocalypse Tapestry woven at the end of the 14th century by Nicolas Bataille after the cartoons of Hennequin de Bruges for the Duke Louis I of Anjou.
The red background of this tapestry is made with a chenille thread which brings a velvet effect and relief. This tapestry is woven and made in France in our workshops Les Tissages de la Lys located in Halluin in Flanders.
